"Harrison Ford"'s Story...
Meet "Harrison Ford" He's a 2 yr old neutered 11 pound male Shihtzu. Harrison is everything one would want in a dog. He's got flare and poise like a movie star and very near perfect. Harrison has the calm energy of a Buddha. He really is that special. How he ended up in a high kill shelter is beyond us but we were happy we could save him. Harrison is sweet, calm, yet can spark up a play moment. He likes other small dogs, and also knows how to use the "doggie" door in his foster home. Harrison would be a excellent therapy dog candidate. He likes all people dogs and is fine with cats. His breed is considered hypoallergenic. Harrison requires grooming every 6 weeks. He knows how to sit and would flourish with posting basic training. He's a real catch! He would be a great dog for a semi active family requires daily walks and would love to go for a car ride. Adoption fee: 575.00 Includes neuter, vaccines, rabies, microchip,30 days pet insurance through Pets First, and a 15 min. training consult. Fenced yard required or Condo environment. Please submit a adoption application at www.6dogrees.com if interested and we will get back to you with in 24 hrs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

"Harrison Ford", a Seattle Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
