My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Django. For those of you that may not know, Django is a genre of jazz music and a computer programming language. I think I was named for the music, because I’m pretty jazzy, and definitely not boring, like computer programming. I’m quite the opposite. I’m bouncy and energetic, and love to stand on my hind legs and dance. I’m a young guy, less than two years old. I’ve worked through the high maintenance puppy phase, but I’m still young enough to mold into a great family member. My foster mom thinks I have a great future! She has been working really hard with me on learning basic commands like sit, down and walking politely on a leash. She says I’m very smart and learn quickly. I pretty much have the run of the house during the day, and I’ve been really good. But if mom is gone, I go in the crate. I’m learning to tolerate it without barking too much. At night I would really love to sleep in the bed with my human brother, but for now mom says I have to sleep in a crate in mom and dad’s room. I sleep quietly all night until they get up. Then I want to get up too. I’m housebroken as long as you take me out on a regular basis, and mom is quite impressed with my ability to pee on command!
I’m living with my foster brother dog, human brother, mom and dad. I get along just fine with all of them. I love to run and play chase with my dog foster brother. I would just love my own yard play in! After some good play time, my favorite thing is to snuggle on the couch with my human brother. I just can’t seem to get enough snuggle time.
Right now, I would probably do best in a family with older children. But mom thinks with a little more training soon I will be able to be a great addition to any family, Right now I need someone who is not afraid to let me know who’s in charge, but I am quickly learning it’s not me. I just can’t wait to meet my forever family! So if you’re ready to add a sweet little love bug to your family. Call to meet me today! If you would like to meet this dog please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $200.
