My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Asher, a spunky and confident poodle mix looking for a forever home. He is feisty and will need a guardian that understands and appreciates that he can have a small dog attitude about some things. He will try to be top dog unless you let him know that YOU are! He does bark for attention so is probably not the best fit for apartment life. Asher gets along well with our other dogs and has no problem at all with our cats. He is not particularly fond of going in his crate but we are working on that. He is housebroken. Asher will jump up in your lap for affection but is not a clingy dog. He is very independent and can entertain himself with toys. He will sit quietly in his comfy dog bed while you are at home and will watch you as you go about your household chores. He will curl up on the couch beside you to watch TV or while you read a book. This little guy weighs only 7 lbs and is full-grown at 4 years old. He has been neutered and microchipped and is up to date on his shots. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
