My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My new pet name is Rusty, but I'm not really rusty. That's just my shiny red fur. I'm going to be two years old in July, so I should be settled in my forever home in time to plan a birthday celebration.

I'm thinking maybe we'll get up early and go for a nice long walk or to the dog park. Then we can go to In N Out burger for a pup patty and DQ for a pup cup for dessert! We can nap for awhile, then play with squeaky toys. Maybe that evening we can watch 101 Dalmatians or Homeward Bound while you pet me. If that sounds like fun to you, come and get me!

FOSTER UPDATE:

Rusty is delightful. He is comfortable with himself, but not alpha. He is patient and walks well on a leash. Rusty wants to be liked so he should be easy to train. Rusty got along well with my male greyhound and female foster greyhound. The doggie in the mirror who had his toy confused him... He'll be a great addition to any home.

Rusty is not cat tolerant or small dog tolerant.

FOSTER UPDATE:

Rusty is delightful. He is comfortable with himself, but not alpha. He is patient and walks well on a leash. Rusty wants to be liked so he should be easy to train. Rusty got along well with my male greyhound and female foster greyhound. He was a little too interested in my cats and a visiting small dog. The doggie in the mirror who had his toy confused him... :) He'll be a great addition to any home.
