Hobo's Story...
Hobo has quite a story to tell. He is such a happy and sweet fellow in spite of what some horrible human did to him. Thankfully, another human - one of the good and wonderful variety - called animal control to rescue poor Hobo from a chain which was attached to the railroad tracks! We can only imagine how frightened Hobo must have been and can truly NOT imagine what led some awful person to do that to him. Hobo has so much love to give and is such a fun-loving guy. He can play fetch and has a blast playing with stuffed toys. He also likes to play chase with our other dogs. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He always comes up for pets and hugs in the play yard. When you look in his eyes you see nothing but adoration and none of the pain from the past. We are so excited to be a part of Hobo's journey to finding a forever family and would love to introduce you to him. He has been neutered and is microchipped and current on his vaccines. He has tested negative for heartworms and is on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
Hobo is crate-trained and housebroken. He weighs 21 lbs and is 3 years old. Please contact Tony at 336.251.8877 to arrange a visit. Our adoption application form can be completed on our website www.cedarfarmrescue.com. 97096

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hobo, a Mocksville Dachshund/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Corgi for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a Dachshund/Corgi dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Corgi breeders who help with Dachshund/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
