Jeffie's Story...
My name is Jeffie! I have been called a lot of different names though as I came from Waco Tx Shelter with a dangling leg that they said was an old injury (I can't think about it and have blocked it out!) and that my leg would never work again. So they called me Archilles. Then I was put in a foster home till I could be taken to rescue and MY LEG HEALED! I still walk with a limp but I can run and play and everything! Boy it is good to have it back!

I am a great boy.. calm and loving and friendly to everyone and everything! Must be the cow dog in me! I am small like a Corgi though! Boy my mom and dad must have been in love as they were SOOO different! Which makes me different too! Everyone loves me! AND I LOVE THEM TOO! Come see me.. I am YOUNG probably a year old! (I lost count!)

woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeffie, a Newcastle Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi for sale in Newcastle, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi dog from a breeder in Newcastle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newcastle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newcastle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newcastle paves the way for another one to be saved.
