My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WINNIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Meet Winnie, a beautiful, gentle and very affectionate 2 year old Shepherd mix. Winnie was rescued from an open-intake shelter with her eight beautiful babies. Winnie has been a wonderful and nurturing mom, but her pups are now weaned and finding homes of their own, so now it's Winnie's turn! She can be a little bashful at first, but she warms up very quickly. She's a very loving girl who loves to give gentle kisses. She will make a wonderful family dog! She's also a great size, weighing in at about 45 pounds, a perfect size for urban dwelling. Winnie was an outside farm dog before being rescued and has really been enjoying living in a home and stretching out on an couch the past several weeks. She has her playful moments, but is generally more on the mellow side. She is still a little timid when walking on the leash, but she is doing better everyday. Now that she's done nursing her pups, her foster mom will be able to get her out for more walks to help acclimate her to the loud city sounds. She's quiet and well behaved in the home and will fit in easily with most families. Winnie is anxious to meet her forever family, please fill out an application today!
