Woody's Story...
My name is Woody and I am looking to find a new family. I am a very handsome boy of 3 years old. My vaccinations are up to date and I am neutered and microchipped. I am a terrier mix. Kids are okay but I really don’t care for other male dogs. I really like the girls though. Snuggling is one of my favorite past times. I am housetrained and love to be outside. I walk really well on my leash and love long walks. I am still not able to go to the off leash parks as once you let me off the leash I will run forever like the wind. If you would like to be my best friend, please fill out the adoption application so we can meet and fall in love XOXO WOODY

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Woody, a Calgary Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Calgary, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Calgary.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Calgary already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Calgary breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Calgary paves the way for another one to be saved.
