My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Atticus! Some pugs just need us more than others, Atticus is one such boy. He is just a baby and has lived already a very neglected life alone. When we picked him up from the shelter, he had already been treated several times for fleas and ticks, but still the critters covered his skinny little body. We think he lived in a yard with very little shade. His black coat is somewhat bleached from being in the sun. He had an eye injury that was never treated by simple antibiotics to heal, so he has a little scar on his right eye that compromises his vision slightly. Atticus was so excited to be in the company of other pugs that he had an erection that got stuck. We had to help it back where it belonged at the ER and neutered at the same time, poor Atticus! He is doing wonderfully with his foster sister and has learned his lesson that humping can get a young pug in trouble! This little boy had been starved for attention and a proper diet, but in the loving arms of rescue – he will want no more! He is an absolute adorable love pug, will roll over for a belly rub and loves being rocked like a baby.
