Here's what the humans have to say about me:
5/13/15 -
The longer we have this precious boy, the more we learn. Apparently, Vince is shy and frightened around loud activity such as playful children or a neighborhood setting with kids playing basketball, etc. Growing up in the woods for the first 12 weeks has left him a narrow perspective tunnel for what is "normal". Now, he simply has to learn to cope with the unfamiliar.
Vince (or Vinny) has a big heart and wants to simply love all living creatures. He enjoys his foster rabbit friend and has no mean bones in his body. He needs a family that will slowly introduce him to the world and encourage his acceptance of new things.
Because of Vince's original shyness, we are looking for a family with a fenced yard and no children unless older. A quiet neighborhood as well. No apartment living.
4/21/15 -
Vince is 14-15 week old puppy who we predict will grown to around 50 lbs. Currently, he's about 19 or 20 lbs. He's a shepherd/ golden/ yellow lab/ etc. mix. And his eyes are VERY pretty!
Vince and his siblings were born to a stray mother living in the woods of Kentucky. The litter was found and a local wanted to keep mom but didn't want any puppies.
This little gem is finally learning what indoor living is like and I'm sure he'll find it much more suitable than outdoors. He is a stranger to being house-trained so we're at square one there.
He is playful and friendly and learning that people can play a very valuable role in life! He's currently a little underweight so foster mom and dad are working on putting some meat on his bones.
Vince will make a great family dog. If you are ready for a puppy and have room in your heart and home.... please complete an adoption application located at
https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application-for-dogs-unlimited-rescue/
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email adopt@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
