WALTER's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

WALTER's Story...
This handsome fellow is Walter, our 5 year old romeo. Walter is a sweet dog who loves his people. He has had a past, however, with issues and had become quite frightened of strangers and reacted inappropriately without any resolution. Walter is doing so much better in his foster home and is looking for his forever home to settle in to.

Walter is a perfect houseguest, housetrained, not destructive, quiet, and quite affectionate.

Walter is great with other dogs and cats, but he will be placed into a home with no children due to his mistrust issues.

Any prospective owners must be prepared to have initial visits with Walter and his foster mom to prepare them and him for a transition to make it as easy as possible.

Walter is located in Nova Scotia.

If you are interested in this wonderful companion please visit www.bostonterrierrescuecanada.com for information on our adoption policies and an application form.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not ship our dogs -- Walter is currently being fostered in Nova Scotia.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

WALTER, a Juniper Mountain Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in Juniper Mountain, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in Juniper Mountain.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Juniper Mountain already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Juniper Mountain breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Juniper Mountain paves the way for another one to be saved.
