My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bella is a joyful Jack Russell mix with beautiful speckled fur. She is a 6 month old puppy that is full of life and zest! She is very playful and loves to wrestle and play with a companion dog. Having a young doggie friend is very important to this little girl and we would really like her to be adopted into a home with another fun dog. She had a submissive companion in her prior home and would do best with another dog that enjoyed a cheerfully bossy girl.

Bella is a petite puppy, around 16 pounds, but we do not think she will get much bigger. She is fine boned and a dainty looking girl.

Bella lived with a nice homeless woman and another dog in a tent, and the woman has entrusted us to find her beloved pups great permanent homes. The woman did a wonderful job socializing her dogs and we were told that Bella is good with dogs, cats and kids. She enjoys making new people friends.

Bouncy Bella adores toys of all kinds and is easily amused. She loves to play with her people and with a companion pup and enjoys fetch, tug a war, and all kinds of games. When playing with another pup, she makes silly puppy growlies when the other dog comes to take her toy, but then she is perfectly fine if the dog takes it from her or wants to play tug. She is a nice girl and likes to share, just likes to make silly noises first, all part of the game.

She is comfy with people taking away her toys, especially if traded for a nice treat or if the toy is tossed again for her to fetch.

She sits on command, comes when she is called, and will be an easy puppy to train. She likes to obey and learn.

She enjoys leash walks but is still a silly puppy so is more inclined to run and bounce playfully than stay right by your side. Bella does like to make you happy so she will certainly get a lot better with her leash manners, especially when taken out for regular walks. Right now, she is just so joyful it is hard to restrain herself! We are betting that she can be trained to make a great jogging partner with a little practice.

At 6 months old, she is full of puppy mischief, all a part of discovering life and finding out what she may play with and what she is supposed to leave alone. Crating her when you leave her alone in the house will be a good idea until she has gotten a little older.

If you love an energetic, happy, playful, fun, silly puppy and have a sweet, playful, submissive natured dog at home who would like a new best girlfriend, Bella is ready to come home with you!

She is a delightful puppy and as beautiful as she is fun!
