Aspen's Story...
It's cold outside, and Aspen is ready for it no matter how cold it is! A female Siberian Husky with an estimated DOB 6/2013, Aspen is fun loving, alert, independent, and mischievous. Huskies are not your typical flexible-for-any-family breed of dog. A Husky owner needs to be ready for lots of daily exercise (except when it's hot; Huskies need to be inside and protected from hot weather), for lots of Husky 'talking', for athleticism seen in few dogs, and for an overwhelming love of running. This all means that Aspen needs a very playful canine sibling or two or an active family which wants their dog with them - or both. She also needs no opportunities to escape and follow her instinct to roam. In return Aspen will provide her new family with unlimited love, fun, and entertainment for years to come.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aspen, a Parkville Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
