Wrigley's Story...
Meet Wrigley, one of the all-time favorite dogs who has ever been at FOPAS (please don't tell the others we said so.) Wrigley is a female Boxer, born about 6/2012. Had we known her better when she came we would have named her 'Wiggles', she is always so happy to see people she wiggles from her head to the tip of her nubbin. Wrigley is the definition of a happy dog, she will hug and lick you for as long as you'll let her. She is great on a leash, and she enjoys a good walk. To say that Wrigley is playful and attentive is an understatement, but she is also very sensitive and responsive to commands. Like most Boxers, Wrigley can't handle weather extremes very well; a fact her new family will have to keep in mind. This is a truly wonderful dog and companion. Wrigley appears to be housebroken.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wrigley, a Parkville Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
