Ollie's Story...
Ollie is a young (estimated DOB of 12/2013) shepherd mix male with a wining personality, a very sweet disposition, and pretty awesome ears! Currently in a foster home with several other dogs, he gets along well with all. However, Ollie could be an only dog since he loves people so so much. Of course being so young, Ollie not only has quite a bit of energy, but he is also a sponge for learning; he's ready for lessons on tricks, rules, and most of all how to be a wonderful part of a family! Although not quite there, Ollie is quickly picking up the finer points of housebreaking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ollie, a Parkville Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
