Angus's Story...
Angus is a 2 year old Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He thrives on adventure, especially if it involves a car ride! An active little dog, Angus loves to play but he is also one of the most friendly and loving dogs you'll ever meet. Jumping up and sitting next to you on the couch could become his favorite activity. Plus he's a perfect size for anyone! Angus likes other dogs, but he is somewhat intimidated by larger rough-playing dogs. He needs exercise every day, so a good run, a long walk or a game of ball will keep Angus physically and mentally healthy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angus, a Parkville Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Beagle/Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
