Zeus's Story...
Had we known Zeus before we named him he would be named The-Sweetest-Dog-FOPAS-Has-Ever-Had! While we love all of our dogs, this little boy makes everyone melt. Zeus is an 11 month (estimated) mixed breed. So shy when he first meets someone, once he has been introduced he is absolutely devoted to anyone who will pay attention to him. In fact some think that he is made partly of Velcro since he wants to stay attached to his person at all times. He is now in a foster home where he has perfect house manners, he crates well, and he loves being part of a family. He is interested in squirrels, however, but that only means that you need to hold onto the leash when walking him. There is no other word that SWEET for this boy, if you need constant comfort and love, this is your boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a Parkville Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
