Kinsey's Story...
Kinsey is a female Lab and perhaps Golden retriever mix. At only 7-8 months she is somewhat overwhelmed by the shelter, but a shelter is a new and very different place for such a quiet and sweet girl. Although she's shy at first meeting she quickly warms up to anyone who shows her some kindness and attention. She is also an enthusiastic and playful girl with both people and other dogs. If you are looking for a dog who will, if you treat her with the kindness that she so deserves, love you without hesitation, be your constant companion, & who will think that you are the greatest person in the world, Kinsey is your girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kinsey, a Parkville Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Parkville, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Parkville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parkville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parkville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parkville paves the way for another one to be saved.
