Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Our I litter of adorable tabby and torby kittens, born 3/1/15, has three sassy and playful girls, and one special needs boy.
These kittens came in as a Stop the Cycle litter (along with mama kitty on temporary loan) when they were just about 2 1/2 weeks old. They have been handled extensively by our volunteers and are all very outgoing and well adjusted kittens who should fit into just about any type of family and home.
This litter will be spayed/neutered and ready to go home by May 9. They have spent nearly all of their lives inside, so should be indoor-only kittens (they have no "street smarts" and are more likely to run TOWARD trouble just to see what it is). Because of his special needs, Insect should go to a home without small children; Insect and the other girls will all do fine in homes with toddlers (under proper supervision), and all should adapt quickly to homes with other cats, dogs, and various different species of pets.
Insect is the most outgoing of the group, and her name fits her, because she will be the first one to run over and "bug" a new visitor!
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome:
Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee for Insect is suggested minimum $63 (more gratefully accepted). Discount for pair adoptions: $106 total for two! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
