Peaches's Info...

Peaches's Story...
Peaches is a 3-4 year old female Chihuahua and her pup Pixie is 7 months old. They are both just as sweet as can be. They are in foster care and will be adopted together as they are very bonded. They play so very well together and love being outside chasing each other in the yard. For that reason a secured fence is required. They eat together, play together and even sleep together in the same crate each night. They are both house trained. Peaches is 6 lbs. and Pixie is almost 5 lbs. They love people and get along great with the other 3 bigger dogs in their foster home. We would prefer they not be left alone all day but only part of the day as they are use to having someone with them most of the time.

Peaches is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm tested, on flea and heartworm preventative, groomed, microchipped, free 30 days of insurance and ready for her new home.

Adoption Donation is $300.00 for both

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Urbana Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Urbana, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Urbana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Urbana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Urbana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Urbana paves the way for another one to be saved.
