Glacier's Story...
Hey there sport! I’m a handsome dog with a wonderful temperament! I will enjoy frolicking in the yard with you and love to be rewarded with an approving pat. I’m friendly towards people and other dogs and even walk fairly well on a leash. I need some care but with my low energy, I’ll make you proud!

All dogs adopted from the shelter must be spayed or neutered. Spay costs are $89-104 and neuter costs are $76-92 depending on the weight of the dog. All dogs must be vaccinated for rabies.

Act quickly to adopt Glacier. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Glacier, a Texarkana Husky/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Rottweiler for sale in Texarkana, or seeking a Husky/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Texarkana.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Texarkana already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Texarkana breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Rottweiler breeders who help with Husky/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Texarkana paves the way for another one to be saved.
