Wonderful, sweet dog with a great temperament. Enjoys taking walks and is a great snuggler. Plays very well with our other 2 dogs. He is fantastic with our 4 grandchildren! Even though he is sight impaired, he learns his way around quickly and has mastered going up and down stairs with little hesitation. He is just fine sleeping in a crate near you or napping on the sofa. He is a wonderful companion and loves the attention as he wags his tail 100 miles per hour when you talk to him!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a Madison Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Madison, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
