Gannon's Story...
Fostered in St. Louis, MO

Gannon is a sweet 6 month old German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix. His owner had to go into the hospital and we were contacted to take him in. He was a bit underweight so he had some catching up to do but now he is a bouncing healthy, happy baby boy. He loves attention and want to be right by your side, is always learning. Gannon loves to be a lap dog and snuggle. He is great with other dogs and puppies of all ages. He does not jump up on you without permission, he is working on basic commands and catches on really well. Gannon is not yet neutered but will be prior to adoption, he will also be microchipped. If you would like to adopt Gannon please fill out our adoption application at

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gannon, a Lansing German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Lansing, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Lansing.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lansing already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lansing breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lansing paves the way for another one to be saved.
