My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Mimi

Breed: Boston Terrier, registered with AKC

Age: 4

Personality: Energetic and loving.

Mimi's Story:

Mimi is an energetic three year old girl. She is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccinations. Mimi is somewhat hard of hearing, but not believed to be completely deaf. Mimi knows basic hand commands like sit, stay, down, and other directional commands. She is also submissive to the male in the house. Mimi is an indoor dog, but loves, loves, loves to be outside playing. A perfect day for Mimi is spent basking in the sun, chasing birds, going on walks, and sleeping in her fluffy pillow. Mimi loves to give kisses, cuddle, and have her tummy rubbed. Mimi knows how to use a doggy door, is crate trained, and sleeps in her crate at night. Mimi's interaction with other dogs is very limited. Mimi likes to be around children, but because she is so energetic she can easily overwhelm or scare a child.

Issues:

Separation anxiety. Will do best in a home where someone is available throughout the day to take her on walks, play and give lots of attention.

She is housebroken and if she can't get out on her own, she will stand near the door and whine. When she goes on walks and meets other dogs, she lets the other dogs come up to her and greet her, but then she snaps at them. I think she is afraid of cats! There is a cat that comes around and when she sees it she starts to whine and move away.
