My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Augustus. I'm a 2-year-old neutered male Spaniel mix. I weigh about 15 pounds, and I'm one of the sweetest and cutest little pups you'll ever meet! I'm a fun loving, energetic guy and I love to meet new people. I get along great with other dogs, too!
Once upon a time, I lived with a family who loved me a whole lot. We had tons of fun together! We would go on hikes, play fetch, and sometimes we'd even go to the beach. It was awesome. One fateful day though, for no fault of my own, my family made the decision not to keep me in their home any longer. After 2 great years together, I suddenly found myself all alone at a high-kill city shelter. I couldn't believe they would just give me up like that! They'd always told me I was such a good boy! Going from sleeping in a warm bed one night to the cold and chaos of the pound the next sure was a rude awakening. I knew I deserved better than that. Luckily, the kind people at CageFree felt the same way. They decided to pull me out of the shelter and find me a new home! Now I'm here at their facility, getting acclimated and making new friends. Hopefully I won't have to wait too long for my forever family to come along. If you like to have fun and you're active like I am, you might be the one for me!
