My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maggie has a sad story. Her parents and siblings were taken by animal control when she was a puppy. It was a hoarding situation and although the dogs were being fed, it was filthy and they were not socialized. The parents were both euthanized and the puppies adopted out. Maggie's new family was just way too busy and she could never relax so they gave her up to rescue. Maggie is sweet but very very shy. She likes other dogs and will warm up to her human in time. Once she does, she acts like a normal silly puppy. Maggie is now 7 months old and weighs between 15 and 20 lbs. She is about 75% housetrained. She walks very well on a leash. Maggie has never bitten or snapped or even growled at anyone but she does cower. A perfect home for this sweet girl would be one or possibly two woman with another dog or two that lead a quiet life.
