Zen's Story...
Meet Zen! Zen is a handsome, affectionate, lover boy who is searching for his forever home. He was rescued from a shelter in rural TN living in a tiny cement cell with no fresh air. He got his name Zen because he was so at peace when we got him out of that tiny cell. He loved feeling the grass, playing with other dogs, bust mostly just loved standing around and taking it all in. Zen is 1-2 years old and has been a total joy for his foster mommy. He's an easy, sweet boy, and gets along with other pups. Zen's adoption fee is $475 and includes all shots, microchip, proheart injection(6 months of heartworm prevention), neuter and transport from Memphis to you via a professional rescue dog transport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zen, a Hagerstown Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky dog from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Siberian Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
