***Courtesy Post*** Subway a beautiful 2 year old neutered male pit bull who weighs in at 65 pounds. Subway was a stray on the south side of San Antonio TX. He was extremely skinny and full of scars and open wounds . He sought refuge at a children's day care center . For four days he laid by the school's entrance patient and friendly just awaiting some on to help. That's where we stepped in . Subway happily accepted a 12"subway sandwich, his name sake, and jumped into our truck that was the first day of his new life. Subway was fully vetted and adopted and flown to a family in Illinois where he underwent training in obedience and house manners. Unfortunately 3 months later this adoptive family had decided to move and couldn't take Subway with them , due to his breed. Subway is a happy go lucky dog who is very energetic and willing to please. He is the type of dog who would make you a cup of coffee if you taught him to. He is extremely smart and driven to work and learn. He needs a active family who's looking for a working or companion to run and play with. Subway has done well around female dogs once introduced, but is not ok with male dogs. Subway LOVES everyone he meets and has done exceptionally well in the home with very small toddlers up to teenaged kids. He is an incredibly love-a-bull dog. Subway is currently in a boarding facility in Antioch IL and ready for adoption. Subway is up to date on vaccines , micro-chipped, parasite free and neutered.
