My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES DAGMAR INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!!

Dagmar came into a high kill shelter when her so called owner (who was a backyard Breeder) dumped her and 3 other German Shepherds. We agreed to take them all, and her pups have been adopted.

Dagmar came in with DIETER, an X-large male, they are extremely bonded, they have been thru
Hell and back and now have a happy existence here in rescue. Both were emaciated and 20-30lbs underweight.

They have gained a significant amount of weight and are doing well, Dagmar is very friendly and sweet but it is very apparent that she and Dieter suffered greatly at the hands of the evil person who dare call him/herself an owner. It is apparent besides being starved, they have been abused. It is very apparent that Dieter took the brunt of the abuse, but despite all this both dogs are very sweet … but skittish,

They will take a very patient adopter and people who will be willing to love them to wellness. They are so happy to be inside a warm comfortable home, with regular meals and creature comforts. They will require a fenced yard. IDGSR will do a reduced adoption donation to the rescue for both dogs adopted. We feel it is in their best interest to keep them together.

They truly love each other and they deserve to have a lifetime of happiness now. If you would like to make Dagmar and Dieter members of your family, please apply with this rescue by copying the link below and filling out the application:
