Dylan - ADOPTED's Story...
This adorable boy is 7 year old Dylan who was saved from a puppy mill and is now ready to start his new life. His coat was in terrible shape when he got to CSTR, so unfortunately, he had to be shaved down. It's coming back in, though, and he should have a glossy white coat very soon! Dylan is a cuddler and would love to have a lap to call his own. He gets along with other dogs as well as cats and is working on housetraining in his foster home. Dylan's idea home would be a quiet one with at least one other friendly dog. Dylan is neutered, current on vaccinations, has had a dental cleaning, is heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. ADOPTION FEE: $250 This adoption fee helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog. A copy of the vet records will be provided to adopter at the time of adoption. This dog is fostered in Tallahassee, FL, and adoption applications will be accepted from individuals living within a 75 mile radius of Tallahassee as well as in the Naples, FL area. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dylan - ADOPTED, a Tallahassee Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Tallahassee, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Tallahassee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tallahassee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tallahassee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tallahassee paves the way for another one to be saved.
