My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Snoopy and in spite of what my name implies, I am a female Hound mix and not a male Beagle! I'm supposedly part lab, but everyone who meets me says I look like a Springer Spaniel. Too bad I can't remember my mom and dad otherwise I'd tell you. My first family took really good care of me because I'm healthy, very friendly, and have good "inside" manners. I'm not one of those country dogs who was left outside in the back yard and not taught how to behave. I learned to come when people call, to go potty outside, and sleep quietly at night when put to bed in my crate. I'm 5 months old, weigh about 30 pounds, and have more growing to do.

I don't know why my first family took me to the shelter, but it wasn't much fun there so I am happy to be back in a real home. I'm learning new stuff every day, like Sit and Heel, and my foster mom says she is SO proud of me! I hope I can find a forever home with kids and maybe another dog, since I really like to play. But mostly I want someone who will keep teaching me and taking me on long walks since I am really smart, I like to explore, and want to learn a whole lot more!
