My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clive is a 4 year old 20 lbs Terrier/wire haired dachsund mix who just came from the shelter. He was pretty scared when we picked him up and was jumpy and biting at his leash. But he has now settled down and his sweet personality is coming out although he seems a little fearful of men. He is getting more confident by the day and is playful and bonding well in his foster home. He is not very food motivated and doesn't know basic commands. He loves to be petted and cuddled and carried. He doesn't seem to have any aggression or barking issues that we can see. He is great with other dogs on his walks and has good leash skills. We suspect that he may be a little bit of an escape artist so foster recommends that he be monitored when outside in case he tries to make a break for it. He is so curious he might just want to see what's on the other side of that fence. Definitely not an off leash dog just yet. Clive seems to be housetrained and is eating well. Overall a happy boy.
