Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kipper is a 1 year old Basenji/Chihuahua mix who weighs about 15 lbs. He is buddies with Ranger who came into rescue with him. Poor Kipper was hit by a car a month ago and has been recovering since them. He is a good boy. Kipper is housetrained and is a little fearful of strangers but is not a barker and has no aggression issues. He is shy and gentle at first but warms up quickly. Kipper has a submissive nature and is easy going and independent. He seems to get along well with the other dog in his foster home but isn't going out of his way to be over friendly - still a little wary of this new place. He does not know SIT. He loves to be outside, hiking and running around. He is quiet around the house but really lights up when he gets outside. Kipper has some dry skin and dander issues right now and is shedding quite a bit but we are trying him on some products and hoping things will clearly up quickly All in all a sweet and gentle boy.
