Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I met a dog one day and his name was “Happy.” Don’t know why, but I thought it would be a cool name to give to one of our Rescue dogs. Well, I found the perfect one. My daughter named him Happy, last name Smile, nickname Joy and middle name Love. Happy is in my home with my two other dogs and I do not regret taking him out of the Shelter. We went to see him and were told he was unpredictable, and picked and chose who he liked. That was the sticker on his cage, and that little guy had no chance to be pulled, but as you know, we do like those stories and we help the helpless!! So I took him again in that quiet room and sat down on the floor and waited. The little guy jumped right away on my lap and was kissing me and kissing me. Now I am not special, it just took time to greet him properly and give him some space. Of course, we found out that they had two guys trying to catch him and that for some dogs or most of the dogs that can be very scary when you don’t know what is going to happen to you. Yes, Happy was a stray in Lehigh Acres. Seems that it is the same story: not neutered, unsupervised, and here goes the adventure.
At first you never know until a few days later how the dog is going to react. We have a daughter, two other dogs, and one cat. It has been seven days now, and that little guy is amazing. He is pure love!! Will snuggle with you at night. He loves to be under the covers and doesn't move all night. He eats good, is completely potty trained with no mess. Doesn’t eat anything in the house and loves his toys. He carries them around. Happy is so funny: he has an under-bite and white eye lashes, long legs and a slender tail. He is completely submissive and walks great on a leash. As a matter of fact he is not a runner; he stays right with you.
