Dottie's Story...
Dottie is one of those special dogs, that you fall in love with immediately. She is around 8 months old and had her first litter of puppies this winter. It wasn't a good situation, and then her family moved and she was left roaming the streets. Dottie kept going back to the old shed, where she had been, and finally was brought to us. After all that, Dottie is happy and healthy and ready to play at the rescue. We had quite a time getting photos of her. She just wanted to jump and play with our granddaughter. Did I tell you that she was raised with 2 nice little boys? So, we know she loves kids and she is definitely one of "Chuck's Picks!" We can see some heeler in her breeding and her head has the colors of a hound. She is a medium sized dog---and ready for her new home and forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dottie, a Walthill Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Walthill, or seeking a Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Walthill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walthill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walthill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Blue Heeler/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walthill paves the way for another one to be saved.
