Kaia's Story...
Hi, my name is Kaia. Will you be my new bff? I'd love to play with you, and if you have another dog that likes to tussle that would be the greatest! I like to play with cats too, but they think I'm too ruff. Do you like to play in water? I love to splash! I'm very curious, I follow my foster mommy everywhere to make sure I don't miss anything, and if I hear a strange noise outside, I make sure to tell her so she doesn't miss anything. I am 6 months old and weigh about 35 lbs. My mommy says I'm beautiful and have such a thick, shiny coat. I'm glad my coat grew back because I was very sick when she rescued me from the shelter. I feel great now though and can't wait to find my forever family!! I'm fostered in Huntsville, AL. To meet me email info@forrescue.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaia, a Marietta Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
