Introducing Jane! She is a BEAUTIFUL catahoula mix that is around 2 years old and 50 lbs. Jane is a perfectly well rounded dog that lives with children, cats, and dogs in her foster home! She is totally house and crate trained as well! She does well on a leash and even knows the commands sit, wait, lay, and leave it commands! How nice would it be to get a dog that already has all the hard work done for you? Jane would really like to have a backyard and a playmate in her FORever home. She wouldn't do well in an apartment because of her size and her hound dog bay. Jane had heartworms when we took her in but she has been through treatment now and Friends of Rescue guarantees her heartworm negative status. six months out from treatment. If she were to test positive in 6 months we would treat her again at one of our vets at no cost to the adopter. It is not expected that this will cause any long term health problems.
