Bee's Story...
This handsome sweetheart is Bee and he is on the look out for his loving forever home. Bee came to us from a home that had over 70(!) cats so he is looking forward to getting the personalized attention he deserves. Bee is understandably a little hesitant at first but once you win him over he is an absolutely delightful love of a cat. Bee will prefer a quiet home that will provide him with the time he needs to come out of his shell. Bee enjoys the company of his friend Juju but they don't have to go to a new home together. Bee could otherwise live with another mellow cat. Given his tendency towards being shy he'd prefer a home without dogs but could potentially adjust to living with just the right cat-savvy dog that won't chase him. Bee needs a home with older children or adults only who will respect his timid nature. If Bee sounds like the cat for you, please come to the front to fill out an adoption application to spend some quality time with him today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bee, a Bellingham Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
