LuLu's Story...
This is LuLu! She was found in February in East Nashville during the ice storm. It looked like she had escaped from her owner on a walk. A neighbor took her in but after a few days she ended up at MACC and on the euthanize list. A group of East Nashvillians banned together and rescued this sweet girl from MACC and after 6 weeks of searching for her family to no avail she is up for adoption. She's about a year old boxer/bull-dog mix. She is fully vetted, HW negative, fully house broken, crate trained, and knows basic commands. She is super sweet and loving, a great people dog and kid friendly. She makes a great running partner and likes to cuddle. She is very gentle for being so young and shows no signs of food aggression. Lu-Lu is afraid/uncertain of other dogs and loves to chase cats so would do best as a single pet or possibly with a non-dominant older dog. This is a complimentary post not an EastCAN dog so please contact Sarah at sdmilkie@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LuLu, a Nashville Boxer/Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Bulldog for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Boxer/Bulldog dog from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
