Barney In Dallas's Story...
Meet Barney! I found this little cutie in heavy traffic. He was half starved and in pathetic shape. I took him to the vet and nursed him back to health. He is now healthy and ready to find his forever home! Barney is 1-2 years old and weighs about 14 pounds. He is the perfect size! He is neutered and up to date on all his vet work. He is also micro-chipped. Barney needs a home where he can have an active lifestyle. He is young and has a lot of energy! I think he would do best in a home where he is the only dog and can have all the attention to himself. He gets along with my dog, but he is older and Barney is just too much for him to handle. Barney has a very sweet and loving disposition. If you are interested in adopting Barney, please contact Patty at patty8249@aol.com. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barney In Dallas, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
