My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maisey is an energetic ball of sunshine. She is a cuddler and is very affectionate. Maisey is great with all people, young and old. She is house trained, crate trained, uses a doggie door, and knows some commands.

She gets along with other dogs, but is jealous of not getting all the attention (or food) and tends to be dominant with them and can get snippy. She chases cats, and would not do well with a cat companion. She would do best as an only pet. Maisey loves to chew and may chew things lying around, but is very easily re-directed to her chew toys. She responds very well to correction and is eager to please. She will play for hours and then curl up by your side, which is her favorite place to be!

Maisey is spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on all vaccines. She was found to be weakly heartworm positive, but on the slow-kill treatment which involves giving pills which are supplied to the adopter by our rescue.
