Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Monroe and I was found as a stray with my mom Marilyn in December. I had heart worms but underwent the treatment for them so I am healed from them! I am currently outside of Raleigh at a great trainer's house in something they call "boot camp" See, all of the perils I encountered when I was a stray made me a little defensive. I am the sweetest boy most of the time but I have a few triggers that make me be "not so nice" so I am in boot camp for 3 weeks to learn the correct behaviors. I love toys and other large dogs... playing is so much fun! My new family will need to come to my trainers house to pick me up so they can also receive some training... please consider me as I am learning my manners! I have been at boot camp for over a week now and have learned many commands and am learning everything that I need to be a great dog for you. My new family will need to have an alpha person because I will need that to reinforce everything that I am learning. Monroe is going on a home visit on May 22nd!
