Derby's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Derby's Story...
Bet you are looking for a good boy like me! Thank goodness you found me!

Derby, around 2 years old, thought he had a happy home. One day his mom got in trouble for letting him lose in the neighborhood. When animal control brought him home, his mom said they could keep me. I got a new name because my mom wouldn't tell them my real name. I was so sad. I thought I was loved.....

Derby is a happy fellow who is active without over doing it. He would make an awesome hiking, jogging or just plain play in the back yard friend! Derby loves everyone, does well with other animals and children too! We were told he is housebroken, however since he is currently in a kennel situation we have not been able to verify that. Derby has other breeds in him as well....we just do not know what...
This well behaved boy may be the one who will make your family complete!

Please give this boy a chance to have a family who truly loves him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Derby, a Conway Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Conway, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Conway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conway paves the way for another one to be saved.
