MEET Cinnamon Girl-
Cinnamon Girl (Cinny or Cinnamon for short) is the sweetest and most loving female, smooth copper dachshund. This little 4.5 year old, 12 lb girl is full of LOVE and smiles, she aims to please her people. Cinny is full of energy and could play fetch for hours, loves snuggling, and shows her non-stop unconditional love by always bringing a smile to her people’s face.
Besides her dedication to her people she loves long walks, light jogs, basking in the sun, and snuggling next to her people. Cinny is great with people, in fact she loves having people company so she can shower them with her cuteness and get a couple of belly rubs out of them. She adores watching birds and squirrels through the window and is not afraid to chase one down in her fenced in back yard. She is good with children and guests as long as she is the star of the show, which is not hard because she is one gorgeous doxie!
She is housetrained and does well on walks with her harness and leash, she has only been outside a fence with a harness/leash and has never received training to walk without one.
She has lots of energy so she needs a doxie proof secure fenced yard to play in. She is an adaptable doxie and loves to take road trips with her people! Like most doxies, Cinny loves being with and taking care of her people. She loves to lay on her people’s laps, loves play time, and loves to be snuggled at bedtime. Cinny needs lots of love from her people and is an incredibly smart and loveable doxie who wants to please. Are you looking for a loving, fun, HAPPY doxie to be part of your family forever? OUR CRITERIA (aka The Fine Print):
Based on 30 years of experience with rescue doxies, we have pretty strict criteria. Do you work from home/stay at home/work part time? Have a securely fenced yard? We do not place same gender dogs in a home unless they were raised together, and children need to be 10 or older (some exceptions IF the dog is a puppy or the child has been raised with a doxie). We prefer non smokers and a home with no other small animals (ferrets, hamsters, etc) Cats are on a case by case basis depending on the dog. Remember, these are rescues; many were surrendered because of these issues.
WHAT YOU GET IN RETURN WITH YOUR LITTLE RESCUE:
All our dogs are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, Pyrantyl, nails trimmed, and dental when needed. They'll come with a basket of goodies, food, toys and a custom made harness. The adoption fee is $395, sorry no exceptions, as this covers the cost to rescue them, vet them and take care of them while in our rescue. It also helps towards the care of other doxies that come with huge vet or dental bills or need extensive behavioral training.
