My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Breed: Pit bull terrier/Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix
DOB: 8/29/2013
Sex: Spayed Female
Weight: 56 pounds

Guess what the synonyms of Natty are? Well I will tell you. They are “dapper”, “smart” and “sharp”. That sounds like me! Besides that, I love to cuddle and to get attention and I had a great time at the last adoption event going up to all the little humans and even sitting in the middle of a circle of people with some little humans.

I do walk a little different because I was hit by a vehicle a few months ago and had to have some pins put in one hind leg and I needed an FHO on the other – the top of my femur was all “broke” so they had to remove it. It took awhile for my muscles in that leg to get better and they may not grow as big as they should but I don’t mind. I still like to run around and play and if I over-do it, I just rest for awhile.

I get along great with other dogs although I tend to “tease” smaller dogs if no bigger dogs or humans will give me attention and I am bored - hey, I am just a young kid yet!

I am crate trained and house trained (my foster mom crates me when she is gone because I am pretty young yet and she says I might get into things I shouldn’t if I am loose in the house and I get bored.) I love to try and get in your lap if you will let me and I do like to play with doggie toys.
