Timothy's Story...
Timothy is part of a litter we affectionately call the Train Gang (named by their foster mama's grandson who loves Thomas the Train).

Born in early November 2014, Timothy is an absolutely stunning black lab mix, with white markings on his chest and incredible chocolate brown highlights. He's a good pup who loves romping and playing with other dogs. Timothy is shy, so a quiet home with older children would be best. He takes a while to settle in, but once he does, he's your friend forever.

Timothy loves hanging out with other dogs. He'd do best in a home with a confident resident dog to show him the ropes and let him know new things and people are okay.

Puppies this age become what new owners mold them into. They are sweet, loving, happy, and eager to learn. They need to be taught and trained. They look at other animals as playmates. It is up to new owners to keep them animal friendly and turn them into wonderful family pets.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Timothy, a Williston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Williston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Williston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williston paves the way for another one to be saved.
