Phoebe's Story...
Phoebe is a 2 year old cattle dog mix. She is a gentle soul who came to us with her 1 year old daughter. She is very mellow and intelligent. She knows sit, down, leave it and walks loose leash. She loves being with her human either just hanging out or going for a hike. She was so starved when she came to us that she had eaten several items that took time to get out of her and had to stay in the hospital for two days. Now she is healed up and enjoys eating real food, she is putting on her much needed weight. Her foster mom thinks she's the best and looks forward to adopting her to the perfect home. She will be the best adopted dog ever.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Phoebe, a Jemez Springs Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Jemez Springs, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Jemez Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jemez Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jemez Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jemez Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
