Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Ace is one ace of a dog. He's a 6 month old that is full of playful energy. Ace was surrendered to Friendship because there was a change in his family's lifestyle and they had to give him up. Ace is a social butterfly that has never had his own yard to play in and would love one. He's never been around other dogs or cats but that's not to say he doesn't like them. Ace will need some training but he's a sweet boy that just craves attention. It's probably best if kids in the family are older because of his strength and lack of training. Ace is an all around good dog that would love a new home. With the training he's now receiving, Ace will return an extraordinary dog!
On May 20, 2015, Ace was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Prison Dogs are trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.
If you are interested in adopting this prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. This dog will be returning to Friendship in a few weeks so get your adoption app in ASAP. You can find an app at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. Hand deliver the app to Friendship or call if you live a distance away to see if you can fax one in. Please do not email the app in.
If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321. Or email at adoptions@friendshipapl.org.
