My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nigella is the most beautiful border collie mix. She is approx 2 yrs old and 48 lbs. We rescued her and her pup, Lemon from a high kill shelter. They both had dermatitis and were underfed. Nigella was treated for heartworm and has been started on a monthly heat worm preventative. Her coat has really grown back well and should thicken up some more in a few months. She is a very smart dog and loves to perch in her favorite chair and watch all of the other rescues. She seems to be pretty well house trained and does well on a leash. She loves to eat!! She is a very easy dog to look after and gets along well with all of the other dogs. She is not a big one for running and playing, but she likes just to hang out and go on walks. She is a really nice dog.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ven Elger Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet of $110. We will go over all fees with you via email.
