My story

Well hello there. I’m Reba and I’m about 6 years old and 70 pounds. I was a stray and got picked up by a shelter in North Alabama. The shelter workers were all surprised when no one came to claim me because they said I am such a sweet, loving, playful girl. They knew if I had the right people on my side I could find a new family to love me. They called AGB and told me not to worry because the AGB volunteers won’t rest until they find the perfect home for me. I am really happy about that because I am generally a happy kind of girl. Even when I got the bad news that I have heartworms, I kept smiling, mostly because my AGB friends said they will give me the medicine I need to make me well again. I love fetching balls, playing with toys and other dogs and I know the command “sit”. I am a very social girl so it doesn’t take me long to warm up to new people.
